We are a union contractor. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and back-ground check.

Qualifications for Tile Setter/Journeymen:

1. Experience with setting Porcelain, Ceramic, Quarry, Mosaic, Thin-tile, Granite, Marble, Slate and Terrazzo tile

2. Must be able to work on both commercial and residential properties

3. Must be able to read blue prints

4. Occasional travel may be required

5. Experience working with tools and equipment

6. Must be reliable and hard-working

7. Compliant to all safety guidelines and procedures

Other Skills Required:

  • Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings-- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

  • Controlling Machines and Processes-- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.

  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work-- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

  • Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material-- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

  • Building and Construction-- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and buildings, or other structures.
